No, you do not have to file a Georgia tax return. Retirement income is taxed by the state you live in when you receive it. It doesn't matter what state it comes from.
Did you live in GA for any part of 2021? ("We are currently Michigan residents.")
If you lived in MI for all of 2021 then you do not have to file a GA tax return. Enter the 1099R on your federal tax return. The information will flow to your MI return.
To enter your retirement income, Go to Federal> Wages and Income>Retirement Plans and Social Security>IRA 401 k) Pension Plan Withdrawals to enter your 1099R.
