No, not if it was transferred into your account. My husband died in 2023 and took his RMD. His IRA was put into mine. I don’t have to take my first RMD until this year 2026. So I didn’t rake any for 2024 or 2025.
If your husband's IRA was rolled over into your own IRA, RMDs are based on your own age, and they start only when you reach age 73. So, no RMD in 2025 as you are not 73 yet.
