My federal Turbo Tax "check" brings up a W-2 that asks for an employer and zip code but I am retired and do not get a W-2. Do I just ignore this?

Make sure you did not enter your 1099-R as a W2. Double check by
signing into your account and return
Click Federal on the left side-bar
Click Wages & Income along the top
Look to see if the 1099-R was listed and if there is no W2.
Correct (delete) if necessary
