my federal taxable amount on line 2a was entered twice how do I edit this?

Follow these steps to edit tax exempt interest:

Return to the federal income section.
Scroll down to interest and dividends
Locate the 1099-INT interest entries.
Select edit/ review/ revisit/update
Make corrections as needed.

You may also have income from 1099-OID. It is in the same area.
