Assuming that you all live together, only one parent can claim the child and all the benefits.

Usually the parent with the higher income, but not always.  The only way to know for sure is to prepare two test tax returns for each of you can compare the results.

Just to add:  Again assuming that you all live together, if one of you paid more than half of the total keeping of your home for the year, then that parent might qualify for Head of Household (HOH) filing status in addition to claiming the child.   A child born anytime during the tax year is deemed to have lived with you the entire year, so choose "all year" as the time lived with you in TurboTax.
