My box 12 DD shows -6000 that doesn't sound right.

No, it does not. You may want to check with your employer. While it won't impact you, it is still good to clear it up.

Individuals and Families

Individuals (employees) do not have to report the cost of coverage under an employer-sponsored group health plan that may be shown on their Form W-2, Wage and Tax Statement, in Box 12, using Code DD.

The amount reported does not affect tax liability, as the value of the employer contribution continues to be excludible from an employee’s income, and is not taxable.  This reporting is for informational purposes only, to show employees the value of their health care benefits.

It was fine last year but for some reason turbo tax pre populates the -6000; I think there is a glitch in their program.  I'll probably just use a different tax program.

is this box 12 of the W2? If it is from a W2, check your physical copy to see what the actual number that is reported on your W2 in box 12 with a code DD.. If you imported it, it may be an import mistake.
