My adult disabled son, non filer has not received stimulus check. i have permission to handle affairs. he gets social security directly deposited. should i register?

my adult disabled child is my son. we are both non- filers. he is waiting for his stimulus check. There is nobody to check with at the IRS.

When someone replys?? I need info ASAP! We did not work last year so there was nothing to file in 2020. We are living on "fumes" . He needs that stimulus check!

If your son receives Social Security benefits through direct deposit, then you do not need to file anything or register for the stimulus payment. It should automatically be deposited into his account.

There is now a tool available through the IRS site link below that will allow you to check the status of your stimulus payment. It is called Get My Payment.
