My 1099R - Roth shows Code Q. Why is the amount added to our total income?

Although this is considered income, it is nontaxable income.  TurboTax will automatically include the amount from box 1 of this Form 1099-R on Form 1040 line 15a or Form 1040A line 11a but exclude it from the taxable amount on line 15b or 11b.
