My 1099-R from my pension has a G after the payer ID but system will not allow me to enter it, what can I do?

The Payer TIN has to be 9 digits in the format xx-xxxxxxx. If there are 9 digits and a G then do not enter the G. If there are not exactly 9 digits then you have to contact the payer for a corrected Form 1099-R.

I entered a retirement pension from being on the police force. I marked it as a PSO (public service officer) and it made the pension non-taxed. I think this is wrong?
