Money from girlfriend overseas taxable income?
I'm a US citizen living overseas with my long term girlfriend who is a Swedish citizen. I had no independent income in 2016, but she transfers $1500/month to my US bank account that I use for expenses (joint household expenses, travel, etc). Can anyone suggest if/how I should report this on my taxes? Thanks!

Gifts received are not reported on your federal tax return, regardless of the amount received although there is a reporting requirement for certain gifts (generally over $100,000) from foreign persons using Form 3520
Instructions https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/i3520.pdf
