Mined about 70 coins of a cryptocurrency that was worth about 1.75 most of 2018. Do I need to report this on such a low amount? I plan to possibly sell it in the future.

Isn't there a threshold amount on when you have to report? Think I saw somewhere it was 400 dollars. Is that true?

Far as I know you dont need to report till you sell any part or all of it

Thanks for the response. I don't believe that's the case though since you're mining it. Isn't there a threshold number like If you mined less than 400 dollars worth of the coin you don't have to report it? Or am I required to report all the coins I mined?
