Latest Deluxe updates introduced a bug. In the Review->Analysis section, I'm receiving warning that elective deferrals exceeding $24500 for 401k plan.

It is including 457 contributions in its calculation but shouldn't be.

I’m having the exact same problem with the latest TurboTax Premier update. I can’t electronically submit my taxes until this update bug has been corrected.

Intuit is now working on a fix for the problem.

I updated TurboTax on 3/29, but I STILL get the elective deferral exceeding the limit error.  Does anyone else still have the same problem after the latest update?

Thanks, I was told to check for the update in 2 or 3 days so I thought this was the fix. I did not exceed my 401K contribution limit, but rather TT is incorrectly including 457 amount, so the instructions to report an excess deferral when there really wasn’t isn’t the proper solution. I hope the fix on 4/5 is what we need since it’s cutting it close to the tax deadline.

This problem appears to be fixed with the R24 release of 2018 TurboTax on 4/4/2019.
