Last year I claimed 2 months of income (Nov-Dec ‘17) with a new job without getting a 1099, do I deduct those 2 mo’s from my 2018 1099 to avoid double paying taxes?

I started a new job at the end of 2017, did not get a 1099 from them as they stated it wasn’t necessary if it was a new job and would be included on the next year’s 1099. My tax professional had me include it on my 2017 filings, I now have a 2018 1099 from them, do I deduct what I already claimed for 2017 to avoid paying double taxes?

No, you did it correctly, but do call them and make sure they included that amount in the 1099-MISC before you delete it, just to be safe.
