It's possible you are seeing this prompt because the "Canadian Pension" line was clicked inadvertently under the Retirement Plans and Social Security subheading in Wages & Income.
When you are in the Retirement Plans and Social Security section, one of the options to choose is Canadian Registered Pension Income. Go back to Wages & Income, select Retirement Plans and Social Security, and check what entries were made. Delete any entries made in the Canadian Pension section.
If you have inadvertently started a Canadian Pension form, you can delete it. Here are the directions for Online and Desktop versions:
If you are using:
I have the same issue. My summary page includes a line for Canadian Registered Pension Income. It's zero, but seem inappropriate to have any country listed when none apply to me. Canada is random. I tried the update button and pressed the "delete" button. After confirming deletion, the line still exists. I tried the advice in this thread to find the "Form" and delete it, but there is no form. Perhaps a bug in Turbo Tax? Maybe a future update will correct this. If there is more I can do, please advise. Thank you.
I have the same issue and have tried several times to delete the form - it cannot be deleted.
Canadian Registered Pension does not appear on the forms list, but it appears on the list of retirement income items and cannot be deleted. This is obviously a bug - PLEASE FIX THIS.
Same thing I encountered. Not sure how to fix this.

This does not seem to work. I cannot remove Canadian Registered Pension Income from Retirement Plans and Social Secrity section.
This is a workaround that has been effective for some:
If you are not able to remove the Canadian Pension section with the trash can icon, add dummy information to the Canadian Pension and then try the trash can icon again.
If this does not work, consider using Delete a form in TurboTax Online. Follow these steps:
In TurboTax Desktop, click on FORMS in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
Find the form and click Delete Form at the bottom of the screen.
Obviously a bug, that you are WASTING countless folks time, attention and patience with!!! FIX THIS!!!
Did not work
The only thing that worked for me was to put a fictitious name, press continue, then back button, to the original canadian pension question, and then, only then could I delete it and not have it persist.
None of the other suggestions below worked for me.
This did not work for me.
Zero help, sad that they can get away with taking folks hard earned money for products that don't work for so many. I'm done... many free places to get tax help, NO MORE FOR INTUIT!!! Buh-by!~
NOTHING on this page works to delete this Intuit created, non-existent Canadian Pension.
