The Social Security income section has been working properly for both TurboTax Online and Desktop versions.
See this help article for instructions to enter Social Security income. If you are still unable to get to the entry screens:
If you are using TurboTax Online, try the following basic troubleshooting steps:
Check your Internet connection. Hardwired connections work best.
Try logging out and logging back in again.
Try using a different browser. Chrome generally works well.
Try restarting your device.
Try clearing your cache and cookies.
If after trying all of the options mentioned you still have the same problem:
See this help article and this one for instructions on how to contact TurboTax customer support depending on which product you are using.
If it's the desktop software on a windows computer.
1) Run the internal TTX updates first.
2) make sure you check for and install any waiting Windows OS updates...and reboot even if you don't find any
Finally
3) Rt-click on the TTX Desktop icon, and select "Run as Administrator"

OR perhaps, call Customer Support
I'm on a Macbook Pro. I just installed the latest Mac OS, 15.3, opened TTX and got the latest updates installed, and it still does the same thing. Guess I'll try contacting support.
Just spent a good while with support on the phone. All the other links on the income page go where they should. We went to forms and there is no SSA-1099 form in the program, even though when I started TTX it said there were no new forms to download. They’ve launched an investigation…
Just to add to the confusion...the previous discussion has been about a tax return I'm doing for a disabled daughter who passed away last June. I closed that tax return and started one for me, and I had no issues with getting to the social security data entry page.
Then I closed mine and went back to the daughter's return, and it still had the old issue. I even started a new version for the same person, and it *still* wouldn't let me go to the social security page. What could be going on? I am importing her data from 2023, so somewhere in there may be the issue, but it wasn't an issue last year.
