It looks like my husband overfunded both his retirement plan and HSA...now to late it fix it? Any suggestions of where to start

You have until Tuesday. See your plan administrator of both accounts to have a withdrawal of excessive contributions. The plan administrators will assist you with the paperwork necessary so that you do not pay penalties on these amounts. As long as this is complete before the end of April 17 and can be reported on the tax return, then you can fix this on time. Otherwise, excessive contributions are subject to penalties.
