It let me type in my ssa 1099---but it will not let me type in my csa-1099r---why?/

Are you in the right places?

. Go to Federal> Wages & Income>>Retirement Plans and Social Security (SSA1099 and 1099RRB) to enter your SSA1099.

To enter your retirement income, Go to Federal> Wages and Income>Retirement Plans and Social Security>IRA 401 k) Pension Plan Withdrawals to enter your 1099R.

...and once you get into the regular 1099-R area, a subsequent page will give you a choice of 4 different 1099-R form sub-types....one of which is the CSA-1099-R
