It is asking me to deal with a 1099-NEC form but we did not get one of those. What can I do to get away from that page?

The new Form 1099-NEC is used to report any compensation given to nonemployees by a company. This is generally from self-employment.

You may have had a 1099-Misc in 2019 that carried over as a 1099-NEC for 2020.

If you did not have self-employment in 2020, here is the general procedure for viewing the forms list and deleting unwanted forms, schedules, and worksheets in TurboTax Online:

Open or continue your return in TurboTax.
In the left menu, select Tax Tools and then Tools.
In the pop-up window Tool Center, choose Delete a form.
Select Delete next to the form/schedule/worksheet in the list and follow the instructions.
