Is this a bug? On edit 1099-R entry set to 'Y', that I took distribution before age 59 1/2, when I took it after and entered N.

That is just the default in the system, so each time you go back to it, it will go back to the default.

When you click on it and then click continue it will enter whatever answer you put for your tax computation.
