Is there a basic 1099R? I have entered a 1099R for a 401K distribution, however, I do not see an option to add a basic 1099R to input military retirement pay.

You enter the 1099-R from the military retirement in the same area as the one for the 401k distribution. After you entered your 1099-R for the 401k contribution continue until you land on the "Your 1099-R Entries" screen and click on "Add Another 1099-R".
