Your social security income should be reduced by the amount that is not taxable. You can look on line 6a and 6b of form 1040 to see your gross benefit and the amount that is showing as taxable.
To view your form 1040 and schedule 1 to 3:
You enter your SSA1099 exactly as it appears. The software does the calculations to determine if any of the SS was taxable. You will see it on lines 6a and 6b of your Form 1040.
