"The National Coast Guard Museum Association, Inc, is a Section 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to r...

 

This means that it is not a "veterans group" in the eyes of the IRS.

 

This means that the Association, per se, is a charity in the eyes of the IRS, so any contributions to the Association can be deducted in full, to 50% of your income for the year 2024.
