What is the Calculation for 2023 IRA RMD's?

The IRA custodian should have given you that information in January  or in May on form 5498 ... please ask them for the amount.

the numerator is the IRA balance as of 12/31/22 

the denominator is based on this table:  it's normally table III, but read the descriptions of each table carefully.
