In 2016, I had a distribution of profit sharing plans for my company. I received a 1099-R. It states the taxable amount is 0.00. is there anything else i could have done on my return for this?

You need to enter the 1099-R. Even though the form may have said the taxable amount is $0.00, some or all of it may be taxable. So make sure you enter it and answer all the corresponding questions to make sure it is properly reported on your tax return.
