If I withheld additional money from each paycheck for federal taxes, where does that come into play when filing my taxes?

If I withheld additional money from each paycheck for federal taxes, where does that come into play when filing my taxes?

Your total Federal withholding, including the additional amount, will appear in W-2 Box 2 (or a similar box on 1099s or other forms); that will be reflected as a payment on your return.

Your total Federal withholding, including the additional amount, will appear in W-2 Box 2 (or a similar box on 1099s or other forms); that will be reflected as a payment on your return.

It will all be included on the 1040 line 64.
