If I recently contributed to an ira do I wait to file my taxes?
Wednesday I transferred 4000 to a Charles Schwab IRA they say wait 3 business days can I file my taxes now or wait?

If I recently contributed to an ira do I wait to file my taxes?
You can file now.
You can file claiming an IRA contribution, even if you have not made one yet, as long as you do it before "Tax Day", this year April 18th, 2017.
Make sure the transaction is completed and that the financial institution is reporting it as a 2016 contribution.
But you do not need to wait for that to file.

But you do not need to wait for that to file.
