If I received a social security check from my father's social security benefits after he died, do I report it?

The amount was somewhere between $300 and $600, and I am also employed full time. My father passed away in December of 2016, but the payment was received in 2017. I have NOT received a SSA-1099 form.

Yes, you will need to report the Social Security check you received on your 2017 Tax Return.  You should receive Form 1099-SA reporting the income in the mail.

If you haven't received it in the mail yet, you can click this link to the Social Security Administration for details on how to get hold of a copy: How Can I Get My 1099-SA.
