If I move to Virginia and I’m retired will I have to pay taxes on my social security and pension

Virginia doesn't tax Social Security or railroad retirement benefits, however other sources of retirement such as IRAs and pensions are taxable.

 

Virginia allows an age-based deduction of up to $12,000 for taxpayers 65 and older.
