Yes, your joint tax return must report all of your spouse's income, including Social Security income.

Yes, all of your combined income must be included on your joint return, and that includes the SS benefits your spouse received.  Watch for the SSA1099 that will come in your mail.  

 

  Go to Federal> Wages & Income>>Retirement Plans and Social Security  (SSA1099 and 1099RRB) to enter your SSA1099.
