I worked this summer and contributed to a savings plan. Once I left, the company rolled the savings plan into a Traditional IRA. Do I say I contributed to an IRA?

I am being asked if I contributed to an IRA. My savings plan (which I contributed to) with the company was rolled into an IRA. Once it was rolled over, I haven't contributed any extra. Does my contributions when it was considered a savings account count?

No, this is not a new IRA contribution. For the rollover, only enter the Form 1099-R and answer the questions in the 1099-R section.

No you did a rollover, which is not the same as making contributions.
