I was off the amount of royalties by 8 dollars. I gave amounts on checks but when 1099 arrive it was 8 dollars more. Will that matter? I already filed with you.

A difference of 8 dollars is not likely to make a large enough difference to require an amended return to make the correction, but it is possible since you don’t know exactly where the threshold for the tax bracket or credit may be.

If you do not make the correction, there is always the possibility that you will be contacted by the IRS about the discrepancy.  It is probably unlikely for that to happen for a difference of 8 dollars.

Or, you can always prepare an amended return to see if there are any significant changes to your return as a result of the additional income.  Then, you can decide whether or not to file the amended return.
