No, it doesn't normally erase anything and should save the information. Please log completely out of TurboTax, then try clearing out your browser's cache stored on your computer. I was kind-of wondering if it might do that (erase the entries) if you leave while in the middle of the form itself....if you work your way out of it before exiting the program, it most surely saves it.
You can always come back later and "edit" the form to put in what's missing.
Yep....Tried it with the Online software.
Enters a few boxes in a test 1099-R form, but then exited the software while in the middle of the form.
Everything is wiped out.
Always work your way out to them main menu before exiting.

Seems to keep if you simply jump to another section while in the middle of the form
.......but if you log out (or perhaps time-out it left dormant) while the main form is being displayed, the data entered disappears, and you'll need to start entering it again...might even leave you with an "untitled" 1099-R form if you exit improperly.
