I turned 701/2 years old in February, 2017. I didn't apply for a minimum withdrawal based on the 701/2 age requirement. Whats the best move for me now?

You have until April 1, 2018 to take your *first* RMD if you turned 70 1/2 in 2017, so take your 2017 RMD ASAP.  You also will nee to take yiur 2018 RMD before the end of 2018.  Both distributions will be reported on a 2018 1099-R next year on your 2018 tax return.   You do not have to report anything for 2017.
