I took a retirement incentive and received payment in the form of a $52,000 paycheck - is this correct?

is there a way to claim it separately? 60% was taken in taxes and I'm not getting any of it back!

You mean "separately from your tax return"? The answer is no. "Separately from your spouse" possibly. Do you live in a community property state?

what tax document did you get showing the incentive and the withholding amount?
