I submitted my taxes without receiving a 1099-R from a previous 401k. It shows a gross distribution of $57.95 and taxable amount of $7.95. Do I need to amend?

I clicked the link for amending a 2017 return but it is not yet available. Do we know when this will be available?
I realize that I have to submit the return but it seems odd as my return only changed by $2 in my favor.

Yes - you will want to amend if your return was already filed and accepted without this 1099-R distribution included.

Even though the amount may seem minimal to you, the IRS will also have gotten a copy of your 1099-R. Since you did not include this distribution on your originally efiled return, the IRS may send you a notice because the information that you include on your originally filed return will not match what the IRS has on record.
