I sent a portion of my RMD directly to a charity how do I enter that in in this program to reduce my gross taxable income?

Please enter the 1099-R which reports your RMD and continue through the interview screens to report the amount you had transferred to the charity.
This will allow the program to report the charitable contribution you made through this withdrawal.
Please be sure that you do not report the charitable gift again on your return.
The charitable contribution need not be entered on your itemized deductions, schedule A.
