I recieved a 1099 from Chase and the form I am getting said 1099-R are they the same?

Each 1099 has initials after the dash that indicate they type of income they are reporting.  So a 1099-INT is interest, a 1099-R is retirement income and a 1099-DIV is dividend income.  If your 1099 is for retirement income and in the same amount, it could be the same.  Be sure not to report the same income twice.
