I received a 1099 for 2021 that has compensation that I included in my taxes last year, can I just deduct that amount from this year's form?

How did you account for it last year?

Did you file a substitute 1099-R? If the information is the same you can simply save it for your records. If the IRS questions it you can refer to the previous years filing.
