I noticed that on my state taxes it asked for me to attach a W-2 and/or 1099. Don't know exactly what they mean.

If you have chosen or are required to mail your state return, then you must send your income documents to prove state tax withholding. The directions for printing and mailing your return will print along with your state return.

No , not helpful at all. Wasn't able to rectify errors in my tax filing.

Please clarify your question- if you are efiling you do not have to mail the actual forms but you must enter the information on the forms. If you are mailing, you are required to attached any W2s and 1099 that show withholding.
