Why can't I find my return in Tax Home or My Docs™?
Make Sure You’re in the Account You Used to Complete Your Return
· Be sure you’re using the same user ID and password you used to access TurboTax and complete your return. If you’re not sure, see the section below: ‘To Make Sure You’re in the Right Account.’)
· Signing in with the wrong login is the number one reason customers can't find a return in the Your Tax Returns and Documents section, which is located at the bottom of the screen when you're on the Tax Home page.
· Multiple Accounts - Example: A customer did their 2016 return in one account, but then created a new user ID and password to do their 2017 return. If they then sign in to TurboTax with their 2016 login info, they won’t find their 2017 return. It’s best to use the same account each year so all of your tax returns will be stored in one place.
To Make Sure You're in the Right Account:
We can provide you with a list of User IDs tied to your email address, which you can then try signing in with. You should find your return in one of these accounts. To obtain a list of your User IDs, enter your e-mail address here and click Continue.
Other possibilities are listed below.
Did you use the TurboTax software instead of TurboTax Online?Did you file your return with H&R Block, TaxACT, or somebody else?
Did you file another return under the same login?

Go Your Tax Returns and Documents at the bottom of the main screen on the the Tax Home page.
This will take you to

can do: Click on Download .tax file and click on amend a return.
