I mixed up the tax form 2898 by using the wrong social security number. Can I resubmit the ss# ?

I have had the taxes accepted by federal and state, can I  correct the form 2848 and resubmit the form only?

You’ll need to send in a corrected version of Form 2848 to the address shown in Instructions for Form 2848, and also to your state taxing authority.  Be sure to explain that you included the wrong social security number, and for whom, on the document that you originally submitted.
