If you worked somewhere as a contractor, you were given money with no taxes withheld - no Medicare, no Social Security, nothing. You must pay those taxes. As a w2 employee, the employee pays half and the employer pays half. As a contractor, you pay it all. The way to pay this tax is to file a Sch C and you are the business owner for what you did to earn that income. See:
On the other hand, maybe you have a job and they gave you this in addition to a w2. Then select the box under uncommon situations that this money should have been on your w2.
I understand what my position is what I’m asking is where do I input the information from the company that sent me the 1099 NEC is asking me for information as if I’m the business I am not where do I put in the TIN numbers and how much I was paid for the job this is what I need to know.
For what reason did the company pay you money in 2024? That may help clarify your question.

Income on IRS form 1099-NEC not reported to the IRS will likely prompt an inquiry from the IRS.
IRS Instructions for Forms 1099-MISC and 1099-NEC, page 7 states:

I got paid as an independent contractor for working Conventions. The owner of the business sent me the 1099NEC I’m just asking where to put the information from the 1099NEC. I am NOT self employed the company just didn’t take the taxes out. ALL of my other income is w-2’s. I keep getting advice as if I own the company I’m the worker not the owner
You are a business in the IRS eyes.
You do not have to carry on regular full-time business activities to be considered self-employed. This is non-employee compensation. You were contracted to do a job, not employed to do a job. You will need to file a Schedule C for Business Income and Expenses and pay Self-Employment tax on this income.
