To determine your prior year Roth IRA contributions, you will need to refer to Form 5498 for those prior years.
If you do not have copies of the prior year Form 5498, you will need to contact your financial institution(s) for copies.
You can also log on to your accounts' online portals (if applicable) to search for these documents.
The IRS also has copies of your transcripts. Log on to your IRS account (if applicable) to request your transcripts.
I had this question and one other: Turbo Tax is only allowing me to put one digit in this box. How do I get this fixed?
You would get the amount of your prior contributions to a Roth IRA from your personal records. As ReneV4 mentioned, Forms 5498, Year end account statements, etc. The amount of your prior year contributions to a Roth are only relevant if you are taking a distribution prior to age 59 1/2. You basis (contributions) can be removed tax free at any time, penalty free.
Please clarify, what input screen/box are you only able to enter one digit into? Are you using TurboTax Desktop or TurboTax Online?
