I liquidated my ROTH account Got a 1099R from Ameritrade and Distribution is Q. Why is turbo tax adding this to my income to be taxed?

Where do you see it taxed? A code Q should not add to the 1040 line 4b.

It will show as income on the summary screen which shows gross income, not taxable income.

The IRS requires reporting all income on a *income* tax return - taxable and not-taxable.
