I know that inheritance money is not taxable, but if i wanted to enter it into my state taxes to prove i had enough money to pay my bills, where would i do so?

I have had my rental credit taken back for the past 3 year's from the state, as i am a server and didn't report all my tips and it didn't look like i made enough to pay my bills. Trying to enter inheritance money to insure that doesn't happen again this year.

There is no way to do that thru tax filing. It would also be illegal to do so, in my opinion (I'm not a lawyer)
