I have Utah on Box 15 of my 1099-R and it should be Texas. How do I remove Utah and put in Texas?

Texas would not belong in box 15 since Texas has no state income tax. Where did you work?

Better ask your employer why it's there. Did they take withholding out for Utah? If box 17 is 0 or blank then leave boxes 15, 16 & 17 Blank.

Box 15 on 1099 INT asks for a state but Texas is not a choice but the red triangle is wanting a choice but Texas is not on the list. help!
