I have Unemployment Benefits Form-1099-G

Unemployment benefits, reported on a 1099-G are taxable. If your only income is from unemployment and you have no withholding (meaning no taxes taken out from your unemployment benefits), please see here if you need to file-https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1901490

Here's how to enter unemployment benefits in TurboTax:

  1. Open your tax return.
(To do this, sign in to TurboTax and select the blue Take me to my return button.)
  2. Using the Search feature in the upper right corner of the screen, enter 'unemployment compensation' and perform the search. Then select the “Jump to” link, which is the first item in the search results.
  3. On the Unemployment (and Paid Family Leave) screen, answer Yes and select Continue.
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions to enter your 1099-G information.
