I have no income from any employment. All of my income is from state retirement, social security and minimum distributions from investments. Do I need any W-2s?

I need to know only about W-2s, not 1099s.  I have no income other than state retirement, SS retirement and a few small investment "profits".

If you are not an employed by someone as an employee then you will not be receiving a W-2.

If you were not employed and did not have any earned money during the tax year, you will not be receiving a Form W-2.
