If your plan administrator sends you a 1099-R for each investment in the IRA and not just one for all the distributions from the one IRA then you will need to combine like forms with the same box 7 code and enter it as one form. Since the IRS only gets a total on that form 1040 line they don't care how you get the number on the line.
The American Funds family is famous for doing this ... you could have one IRA but it is invested in 10 different funds and to keep the balance in the IRA a portion of the RMD is taken from each fund and a separate 1099 is issued ... this is absurd but not illegal.
