I have an error for Box 14 on my 1099R. I have a Federal 1099R and there is no box 14. What should I do?

Box 14 on Form 1099-R is for the state distribution amount which is the same as the federal amount in box 1 on your form 1099-R.

As the state amount is the same as the federal amount enter the federal amount from box 1 into the state distribution amount box 14.
